InScribe Is Not Downloading Any Jobs - Giving "Module Is Incorrect" Error Or "Access Violation" Error

This article will explain how to correct an error that keeps InScribe from downloading jobs.

This error has only been seen in Windows XP so far. When logging in, the transcriptionist sees a "Module is Incorrect" error. While in InScribe, the program will not download any jobs. While exiting the program, the computer gives an "Access Violation" error and will not shut down as normal.

To correct these errors, follow these steps:

1. Press <Ctrl>,<Alt>, and <Delete> at the same time in order to bring up the task manager.

2. In the task manager, click on the applications tab and find the program, InScribe, in the list.

3. Click the "End Task" button to force the program to quit.

4. Open InScribe again. In the log-in screen click the "Options" button as shown below.

5. In the drop down that appears click the button "Reg MS Media" as shown below.

6. A dialogue box will appear showing that the operation is successful. Click "OK" and log in as normal.

By following this process, both the error messages "Module is Incorrect" and "Access Violation" should not appear anymore. In addition, there should be no issues with downloading jobs.
