This article addresses the issue of not being able to play a dictation while the patient lookup window is open.

If you are having issues playing the dictation during this lookup by either keyboard "F2" command or foot pedal, turn on the "Use Global Function Key" option under the "Options" menu as shown below:



By selecting it, it will place a check mark next to it letting you know it is on. You should now be able to start playing a dictation while the patient lookup window is open.
