This article addresses the issue of not being able to play a dictation while the patient look-up window is open or another program is open (such as trying to listen to a portion of audio while searching on the internet).

If you are having issues playing the dictation by either keyboard "F2" command or foot pedal, turn on the "Use Global Function Key" option under the "Options" menu as shown below:



By selecting it, it will place a check mark next to it letting you know it is on. You should now be able to start playing a dictation while another window is open in front of InScribe.
