This article will outline what to check when the fields in InScribe are not populating when the F1 key is pressed.

See the Screenshot below for the setting that controls how the fields are populated.

Option 1) Auto-Fill Template on New Field

This option will fill every field for Patient demographics with one press of the F1 key, provided that the demographics are first filled in on the left side. Most commonly used fields include Patient ID, Patient Name, and Appt.

Option 2) Don’t  Auto-Fill Template on New Field

This option will prevent the fields from being populated and will only highlight those fields in black. They will need to be filled in manually in this case.

Option 3) Prompt to Auto-Fill Template on New Field

This option will bring up a prompt with the demographic information that is populated for you to choose.
