The following instructions will assist you with configuring a recorder to a specific user.

Make sure InSync is running and is logged in; it will appear as an icon located near the time clock at the bottom right corner of windows. Also make sure the recorder is not plugged in at this time.



Right click on the InSync icon located near the time clock at the bottom right corner of windows. You will see the following options become available.



Select the "Configure (your model recorder)" option from the list. The following screen should appear. From this screen, use the drop down menu on the right and select the user from the list that this recorder is to be configured for.




After you make your selection and press "OK", the folder type selection screen will appear. Here you will want to place a check in each box for the types of documents the dictator will be dictating. After your selections are made press "OK".



Next you will be instructed to plug in the recorder to be configured. After you plug it in, give windows a few seconds to see the recorder then select the "OK" button.



InSync will configure the recorder at this time, and after will instruct you to unplug it.
