You will notice that we have two types of dictionary files "compiled" and "user". Basically, a compiled dictionary is a large dictionary, which runs more efficiently than a user dictionary. User dictionaries are dictionaries of words that were added after a compiled dictionary is complete. Generally, after a period of time, compiled dictionaries will get updated and re-compiled with word changes from the text dictionary, to keep the text dictionary size down.
